Tampa Painters Guild to Form

What is the Tampa Painters Guild?
The Guild has an on going mission to provide inspiration, collaboration among local painters to create new philosophies and movements in painting to produce a body of work that is reflective of that.

Who can participate in the Guild?
The Guild is open to all local painters and academia. Local Academia is encouraged to participate in the Guild.

How much does it cost to join the Guild?
Nothing the Guild is free to join. The only requirements to join are:
- An open mind
- The desire to expand your current pallet of works and philosophies in painting.
- Positive attitude and the desire to learn about your self and various movements in painting.

What will I gain in being a part of the Guild?
The Guild encourages growth as an individual and as a group. We are only as strong as we are a whole sum. By collaborating and having discussions on various movements (Abstract Expressionism, Expressionism, Dada, Surrealism, minimalism, etc.) and artists that have historically changed the art world. We hope to become better painters and more enriched artists with a deeper understanding of what it is that we are creating. We also intend to have group shows that will reflect this. Also to bring local and national attention to the painting movement that is in Tampa Bay. Tampa has a very large pool of painters that have a lot to offer the art world.
